Sprocket 3 Company Profile

Sprocket Kiosks design, manufacture and integrate interactive kiosk hardware and software. We produce a wide range of compact small and large screen kiosk solutions for indoor and outdoor environments and also offer a custom design service for projects with unique requirements.

Sprocket offers a fresh approach to the design process and believes form and function are paramount. Our comprehensive design and manufacturing consultancy services use 3D CAD visualisation as a primary tool for product development and our in house engineers, designers, model makers and onsite workshop enable us to streamline the time between concept, prototype and production.
Now positioned as one of Australia’s most experienced and prolific kiosk design and manufacturing firms, Sprocket continues its steady growth by focusing on volume kiosk production through their joint venture company in China (XA Corporation) and their local distributor channels in the United States and Canada.
With in-house prototyping and short run manufacturing resources on site, we are able to fast track development and vastly accelerate time to market.  For more extensive programs, our off-site staging facilities (Melbourne and Shanghai) are utilised including secure storage, large volume parts procurement, handling, assembly and transportation.
Our production and QA team is experienced in managing all phases of manufacture including undertaking in-house electrical safety and heat testing as well as managing certification testing for local and overseas markets.
As a team of qualified and highly experienced industrial designers, we understand the importance of finding the balance between form, function and mass production. We work hard to ensure our products look slick and will attract customers but will also be intuitive to use, easy to service and offer flexible component and branding options all at the best possible market price.

We take great pride in making sure our kiosks look just as good on the inside as they do outside. We adhere to strict electrical safety standards, are fully versed in the new DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliance recommendations and are fluent in plastic moulding and sheet metal design techniques. We demand excellence from all of our suppliers, bench test all components prior to assembly and conduct performance testing on all prototypes before they are released to market. We ensure our kiosks are designed appropriately for their proposed operating conditions, location and target market and combine hardware and software that will help to futureproof your investment and boost your ROI.
